I love Fall! It’s my favorite season, especially as the leaves start to change colors. Out come the cute boots, leggings and sweaters. Fall always reminds me that like nature all things must change. Unfortunately, along with the season comes my comfy place in front of the TV vegging out and watching forensic shows or old classics–but not this year. If you’re like me then the cold weather makes me you bit lazy and forget it once the snow hits. This year I planned a sure fire ways to get up and get active:
1. Join some local classes, whether it’s dance, kickboxing or the new instructor at the gym. Get up and work that tush for spring, after all you know it’s coming!
2. Single and all your friends are not. Check out sites like meetup.com and make some new associates or social buddies.
3. Do you like to run? Why not push yourself and join a marathon. During fall, there is a wide-range of races form the novice to the more experienced runner. My friend and her boyfriend have lots of interests and one is their love for pounding the pavement. They turn this into a hobby and joined a few local races, even a couple in other cities.
4. Go biking! Take the scenic route or a city tour. Hop on a bike by yourself, buddy or a group and take a bike ride. Not only is it good exercise but you get to enjoy the scenery and if in the city limits, watch out for the buses and taxis.
