Friends with benefits use to be so much easier in my 20s. I had the movie, dinner, after-dinner drinks and well late night rendezvous without a care in the world. Those were the days, when sex wasn’t such an over analytical, emotional act and just something to get my rocks off. Today, in my 30s it’s such a big deal—so big in fact that celibacy is my middle name—well until I find that special someone that is.
Why was my “friends with benefits” status so wonderful? Was it because you didn’t need to show him/her the “representative” or maybe we just had such a good time together then why not throw a little bedroom, bathroom or park action into the mix? Whatever the reasons I miss those carefree days, when boredom made me pick-up the phone and call my “friend” so we could catch the latest movie or open a bottle and chill out.
What do you all think about friends with benefits? Did you have any? At what age does it stop? Or is their an age limit for it?
