It seems like draped dresses are back for another season, and I’m all smiles. Pick your designer, color and cut and as long as its draped in all the right places, you’ve got a ‘flaw proof” outfit.

This Giambattista Valli draped champagne jersey dress caught my eye while browsing Net-a-Porter.  Love, love , love the assymetrical draping and cap sleeve but the fact that it’s a neutral color makes this dress a hot spring item.

 

 

Although, with a $1,950 price tag, I’m not sure it’s worth splurging since you’re bound to find similar looks for less from designers like BCBG, Alexander Wang and even Bebe. In fact, this Haute Hippie dress comes pretty close at only $475.
