This time of year I would typically post some fun yet practical snow boots and other winter accessories. Fortunately, I stumbled upon this fabulous Wendy Nichols fur cuff at Barneys and discovered a more playful side to accessorizing for the cold days ahead.
While a peep-toe fox fur bootie and rabbit fur clutch won’t protect you from frostbite, it will warm your heart to step out in the most stylish, fashion-forward accessories this season.

I am Jamaican and, like our British colonizers, I drink tea…lots of it. So it’s only right that my most coveted home collection is the Versace Butterfly Garden teacup. While I’m waiting patiently to inherit this china pattern from my mother, I’ve found more stylish home decor from some of our favorite designers. My mantra — fashion should not be limited to what’s inside your closet.
1. Diane Von Furstenberg Giant Brush Marks Pillow Sham $100 at DVF.com
2. Diane Von Furstenburg High Rise Martini Glasses $45 for set of 2 at Saks.com
3. Versace by Rosenthal Butterfly Garden Low Teacup $185 Bloomingdales.com

It won’t take much to glam it up this holiday season. All you really need is a hot little sequin dress with minimal accessories. Sequins, metallics, rhinestones and anything shiny can be found on some of the most fabulous party dresses for fall/winter.
With only a few weeks until Christmas/New Year, I’ve found some very cute sequin dresses for under $200. Here are my top 5 picks:
1.Velvet by Graham and Spencer-$198 Bloomingdales.com
2.Michael by Michael Kors sequin wrap dress - $150.00 Cusp.com
3. See by Chloe embellished sequin mini dress - $173.25
All eyes were on Jennifer Lopez as she backed it up on rapper Pitbull at last night’s American Music Awards. Some folks have said that her performance was way too provocative and that her outfit was just a ‘knock off’ of Britney Spears glitter suit in the Toxic video.
Here’s what I say — it’s only right that her post-breakup performance was raunchy and painful for soon-to-be-ex hubby Mark Anthony (who hit the stage minute later with Pitbull). Plus, she looks damn good for a 42 year old with 3 year old twins.
Moving right along…what happens when Rihanna and Beyonce are a no show at the 2011 AMAs? Selena Gomez, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj become the most fashionable on the red carpet!!
Nicki Minaj in Oscar de la Renta

Versace is truly an iconic brand and is responsible for two of the greatest moments in fashion history. Who could forget when Liz Hurley stole Hugh Grant’s ’shine’ in the famous “Safety Pin” gown at the premiere of Four Weddings and a Funeral. Then there was an even more famous dress — “The Green Dress” worn by Jennifer Lopez at the 2000 Grammy Awards will be more memorable than her music career.
Last week, Donatella Versace revealed their collection for H&M with appearances by Nicki Minaj and Prince. But don’t run out to the stores just yet! Versace for H&M won’t go on sale until November 19th at 8 AM, but you can find out which locations will carry the collection at http://www.hm.com/versace.
The line promises to be a throwback of their best pieces from the 90s, and I can honestly say that I haven’t been this excited about Versace…well…since the 90s. I’ll be browsing the preview of pieces online in hopes of seeing some safety pin embellishment or the jungle print backdrop of Jennifer’s “Green Dress”.

Some occasions call for a casual and chic look like your favorite denim with a dressy blouse and pumps. Well, how about a pair of jeans that comes all dressed up on its own. I’m talking metallic, snake, copper and gold.
This season’s dress up jeans are coated in shiny, exotic prints and textures, so you can easily go from a movie, to drinks, to dinner, to dancing and more. Pair it with an understated blouse or blazer with heels.
Here are four hot dress-up jeans from our favorite denim designers (shown in photo Left to Right)
1. Guess copper metallic coated jeans - $128 on guess.com
2. J Brand golden snake print jeans - $242 on revolveclothing.com
3. Helmut Lang metallic jeans - $240 on net-a-porter
4. Current/Elliott leopard print jeans - $198 bloomingdales.com
One of my favorite trends this season is the sweater dress. Not just your typical black, grey and brown sweater dresses but bold, colorful prints that will put a fun twist on your day and evening wardrobe.
WHY WE LOVE IT

THREE WAYS TO WEAR IT
