The Cat’s Meow… Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger was spotted leaving her London hotel in this pretty Tibi draped dress from the fall 2010 collection. I always thought it was pure nonsense that you have to switch up your style once you become a mother; mom jeans and moccasins do not belong in anyone’s closet!! But, after having my four month old pull down my top while waiting at a takeout counter, I realize that wardrobe change is inevitable for all new moms. So, here are a few of my personal tips for a practical, comfortable look without sacrificing your sense of style…
1. Opt for prints as they can be a good camouflage for stains and spit-ups
2. Choose pieces that are loose fitting and comfy like slouchy shorts and draped tanks
3. Layer your tops with light-weight tanks just in case your infant has a craving for the boobs in public

In some cases, there is no substitute for the real thing. I made it home just in time to catch Chris Brown accept his “Best Fans” award (or something to that effect) and ended up switching to True Blood On Demand…..owwww! Anyway, looking at the pics from last night’s BET Awards, I don’t think I missed much, and I’m sure they’ll air the re-run for the next 2 months.
There were more losers than winners on the red carpet. My favorites — Fergie, Lala Vasquez and Miss Keri baaaaby! Nicki Minaj gets “Best Wilma Flinstone Impersonatior”, Ciara looked more appropriate for the Country Music Awards and Ashanti steals “Best Revival pf Gone with the Wind” from Omarosa! To sum it all up, here’s a run-down of those who flaunted pure Hotness and those who were just a Hotmess…
