Some trends are too hot for only one season, and although a necklace is my least favorite accessory, I do love the bold statement and versatility of bib necklaces. Celebrities worked this look on the red carpet last year, and I’m predicting that it will be an essential piece in the everyday wardrobe this spring.

HOW YOU CAN WEAR THIS?

Just because you’re not on the list for the Grammy’s or Oscars does not mean you can’t accessorize a less formal ensemble with a stunning beaded or crystal bib necklace. Have fun during the daytime by wearing a matte finish metal or colorful bib necklace with a fitted white collared shirt or a plain summer dress with a low neckline. Revamp your evening or club look with a blinged out bib necklace and black strapless dress or a simple bustier top and pants/skirt.

WHERE CAN YOU GET IT?

I found high-end to low-end pieces, so you have the option of splurging at fine department stores such as Saks or going for the bargain pieces at Aldo or Arden B (as shown in the slideshow).
