I’m all for trying new things and, when it comes to beauty products, I’ll always go into it with an open mind. So even though I’ve been disappointed with Noxema (as a facial cleanser) and gasp every time I see MB slap it on all over his face, I was still willing to try out their medicated bikini cream – Noxema Smooth and Soothe. It contains benzocaine and moisturizing extracts in, what is described as, a maximum strength formula.

My bikini area is probably the most sensitive part of my body, and I’ve tried just about everything to prevent and stop redness and bumps after hair removal and during the new growth period. Now, imagine how painful it was for me to use this product for three days after shaving with little or no results. The Noxema people claim that this is worthy of “superhero status,” I say somebody in marketing is feeling them self a little too much.

I applied the cream on the first day and had to reapply three times later that same day. On day two, redness and irritation continued even after increasing application. On the third day when razor bumps started to appear, in full force, I gave up.

This is definitely one for the waste basket. You’ll get faster, better relief from Bikini Zone and it doesn’t even compare to my personal favorite Tend Skin.
