Jason Grae, Bachelor on "Omarosa's Ultimate Merger"

We all remember the aggressive, often opinionated Omaraosa from Season 1 of Donald Trump’s hit series the Apprentice–will she’s back with her new show produced by who else but “The Donald.” Accurately titled: “Omarosa’s Ultimate Merger,” 12 gentlemen battle for the love and affection of this no-nonsense lady. SO who will win her heart, we at NUBIA, tracked down one bachelor Jason Grae and asked him about the show’s juicy secrets and his romantic life without giving it all away!

At about 11a.m., I was Jason’s wake-up call for our interview, after getting in the wee hours to pound the NYC pavement on of his spontaneous 2 a.m. jogs. After getting his mind clear, this romantic Virgo goes on to tell me about the misconceptions associated with Omarosa, the reality of “reality” TV and how romance is the way to keep any woman interested!

Q: Let’s get down to it, what is the original “bad-girl” Omarosa really like?
A: There is a brief laugh then he exclaims–She’s a woman.

Q: What does that mean?
A: Let me explain, yeah she’s ambitious, a real go-getter but at the end of the day, she wants to feel catered to at home. What she has going on at work—stays at work.

Q: So her power and status doesn’t intimidate you?
A: Not at all, only a man who has nothing going on in his own life would be intimidated by a successful woman. I am an entrepreneur, who has created a successful massage therapy company–Healing Hands Event Mobile Spa as well as my events planning business. My energy and passion is also geared towards my own ventures.

Q: Let’s discuss the show, what made you decide to audition as one of the bachelors?
A: To be honest it all just happened. In my case it was a simple process. I heard about the plan for this new reality show from someone connected in the industry last year while in Miami. Once I returned to NY, I went met with a few people. I had the personality and it developed from there.

A: On the finding love reality shows, there are always certain character traits given to each guy, what was yours?
Q: That’s true, you usually see the jock, the roughneck or the smooth R&B dude but I was the mediator type, you know the go-between, not that irritating guy everyone what to see get kicked off the show—my type tends to last a bit longer.

A: So are you in a relationship right now?
Q: Cari, come on now you know I can’t tell you that.

With a slight smile in my voice, I chirped out “Well a girl has to try.”
Yep, and I give you an “E” for effort (slight laugh)

Q: What did you dislike most about dating on the show?
A: It’s hard to be a true person. Once the camera roles you are one way and when it goes off you act another way. I can’t go to bed with one person and wake up with another.

A: How does your profession as a massage therapist help you woe her with your hands?
Q: It’s all about energy and aura. I can put a woman at ease in 30 seconds. Once I was able to get these big hands on her–she really enjoyed it.

Q: Now that you have appeared on a reality show, what is the best way to keep a woman’s attention with so many other options out there?
A: I have always believed a man should be himself. A woman, especially a smart woman can tell when you’re your  being phony. Also, remain spontaneous, be romantic—do the flowers thing, baths, massages, etc. Don’t become complacent in the relationship

Q: What are some personal do’s and don’ts in the dating game?
A: As far as don’ts, I absolutely hate smoking and excessive drinking and weaves. Honestly ladies, most men don’t care about weaves or how long your hair is as long as it’s done and looks good. The do’s, a woman who makes an effort with her appearance and try to keep in shape. My biggest turn-on is a woman who can cook. Turn on the cooking channel wit Rachel Ray or something—I cook, she should too.

A: So J, in one word what word would a woman use to describe you?
Q: Handful.

That’s an interesting word and after our half hour conversation I can see why. Check out Jason Grae tonight as he fights for Omarosa’s love on TV One at 9 p.m.
