It’s almost time to celebrate the New Year in 5..4..3..2…and I for one am looking forward to it! Unlike past years, I’ve decided to play hostess and invite a few friends over to ring in the New Year. Like most NYC apartments, my place is compact but with almost 20 guests, the liquor will flow and as we mix and mingle with these amazing cocktail recipes. Try some at your party this year and entertain in style!
I recently discovered this Russian favorite vodka, Exclusiv Vodka, located near the shores of the Black Sea between Romania and Ukraine. Its smooth taste adds to any drink from martini to mojito. Try Exclusiv Citrus Cranberry Punch, served in a champagne flute or as a punch bowl makes it perfect for a New Years Eve party. Mix with Limoncello, cranberry juice, and Ginger Ale.
Also try, Exclusiv Southern Shore Ices Tea to give your New Years Eve party guests an extra kick with Blue Curaco, 5 hour energy bottle, a splash of Sour and a splash of cranberry juice, garnished in a pint glass with a lemon wedge.
This holiday, we’ve enlisted the help of top New York mixologist, Jonathan Pogash (thecocktailguru.com) to give us some entertaining tips and delicious sips. Pogash created the Cherry Pop, which is a beautiful rosy color and redolent of nutmeg, but the secret ingredient is the powerful addition of Lucid absinthe:
